The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has just launched a new interactive feature on their web page devoted to tracking opioid misuse statistics and initiatives across the country. Users will be able to see what is being done in various rural areas of the US to address the opioid epidemic—a cause that’s close to our hearts here at Hive Health. In announcing the new feature, Assistant to the Secretary for Rural Development Anne Hazlett said, “USDA is a strong partner to rural leaders in addressing this issue through programs for prevention, treatment and recovery, as well as programs that build rural resilience and prosperity for the future.” Access the interactive map here.
